Research Degrees at the University of the Arts London

University of the Arts London brings together six of the world’s most recognised Colleges for study in Art, Design, Performance and Communication.  It is the largest specialist provider in Europe of higher education and research in art, design, performance and communication offering research degree programmes in all six Colleges:

• CCW Graduate School – Chelsea College of Art and Design, Camberwell College of Arts and Wimbledon College of Art
• CSM - Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design
• LCF - London College of Fashion
• LCC - London College of Communication

Each College offers both theoretical and practice based research programmes leading to a PhD or MPhil awarded in any subject area where the University can provide appropriately qualified supervision.  Students studying for a PhD at any one of the Colleges benefit from full access to cross College resources, interdisciplinary dialogue, and to the Research Network University of the Arts London (RNUAL) which offers research students support and ongoing training to enhance their studies and future careers as researchers.
