Welcome to Money Matters

These pages will give you comprehensive advice and information about your finances while you are a student. Planning for the cost of studying in London is important. As well as your tuition fees, you need to budget for living costs, travel fares, equipment and materials.

In this area of our website we have tried to answer the most common questions, as well as give information about different sources of funding.

The type and level of your course will affect your finances in different ways. Find out more by visiting the section that is specific to your course.

The information is relevant to Home/EU students. If you are International student please visit the International Student pages.

further education (FE) courses include: Foundation Studies in A&D, Portfolio, and Access (all full Level 3), ABC Diploma (Level 3).

higher education (HE) courses include: BA, BSc, HE Cert and Foundation Degree courses.

postgraduate courses include: PG Cert, PG Dip, MA, MPhil and PhD courses.

Student Advisers in each College and at the Student Centre at 272 High Holborn can help and advise you about your money matters. All our Student Advisers are members of the National Association of Student Money Advisers.
